Cherrie Amour is a Baltimore-based award-winning poet/author who writes about love, life and relationships. Amour's first book of poetry Free to Be Me, Poems on Love, Life and Relationships is a poetry memoir that details her life from childhood to adulthood and her geographic journey from the Caribbean to the U.S. Her poem Hermoso Negro, a tribute to her father is featured in the Paterson Literary Review. Her work has been published in Poet's Ink, Understorey Magazine, Maryland in Poetry and The Fire Inside: Collected Stories and Poems from Zora's Den.

Words, Wine & Wings – 2 is the second show in the Baltimore-based poetry series hosted by award-winning poet/author Cherrie Amour. This show features poets (emerging and established) in the DMV area who share their stories based on a show theme. The theme for the November show is “Men Share their Pain” and will feature four poets: Ron Kipling Williams (Baltimore, MD), Anthony Morales (Washington, DC), Gilbert H. Richards (Baltimore, MD) and Charles Stokes (Bethesda, MD). Recommended for 18+ years
